1. The service
ATAR Forecast is operated by Kanishk Joshi in NSW, Australia. It uses the school, subjects, ranks and cohort sizes you provide with historical NSW HSC and scaling information to produce estimated marks and ATAR scenarios. It is an experimental planning tool, not an official UAC or NESA service.
2. No guaranteed outcome
Forecasts, goal gaps and improvement opportunities are estimates. They do not promise an ATAR, admission offer, mark increase or tutoring outcome. Actual results can differ because rank gaps, assessment programs, moderation, cohort performance and final exams are not fully known.
3. Your information
You must provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and must not submit another person’s details without authority. The forecast does not request a full name or street address. The Privacy Policy explains collection, storage, tutoring contact and your request options.
4. Tutoring contact
Access to the free forecast requires one affirmative checkbox that includes permission for ATAR Forecast to contact you about relevant tutoring opportunities. You can withdraw this permission and unsubscribe from later messages. Your profile will not be passed to a third party tutoring provider without an additional disclosure and permission process. You are not required to purchase tutoring after receiving a forecast.
5. Age and account use
You must be 15 or older and able to understand these terms and the privacy choices presented. Keep your sign in method secure and do not use another person’s account. Ask a parent or carer to review the service with you if you do not understand the choice.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, submit automated false records, interfere with other users or copy the data and model for a competing service. We may restrict access to protect the platform or investigate misuse.
7. Availability and changes
The service, model, covered schools and course data may change. Historical forecasts retain their model and creation versions so later changes do not silently rewrite them.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Any separate paid tutoring service will have its own pricing and service terms.
